ORIGINS AND ASPECT
Granit is a felsic igneous rock, formed deep in the Earth's crust by the slow cooling of quartz rich magma. This non porous rock, impermeable, igneous and coherent exists in a large variety of colors and tones.
Different quarries are explored in Brazil, and tones therefore vary in clarity, with veins in a variety of thicknesses.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE
Its dark color and wooden tone make it a unique kind of rock, for both indoors and outdoors, as well as for furniture and craftsmanship.
Can be finished in a large variety of techniques, from polished tiles to flamed or antique, as well as sanding or smoothed.
