ORIGINS AND ASPECT

 

 

 

Granit is a felsic igneous rock, formed deep in the Earth's crust by the slow cooling of quartz rich magma. This non porous rock, impermeable, igneous and coherent exists in a large variety of colors and tones.

Different quarries are explored in Brazil, and tones therefore vary in clarity, with veins in a variety of thicknesses.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE

 

Its reddish color and textured tone make it a unique kind of rock, for both indoors and outdoors, as well as for furniture and craftsmanship.

Can be finished in a large variety of techniques, from polished tiles to flamed or antique, as well as sanding or smoothed.

These are the quintessential ornemental rocks, capable of creating outstanding contrast effects, while complementing a high-end aesthetic. "
